Hi! I’m Bala. This blog is a collection of my ramblings on systems, site reliability, and my life in general. I am a Platform Engineer with Oak Street Health. Previously, I worked on SRE, Platform Engineering, and Web Operations at Rad AI, Salesforce, Shape Security (acquired by F5 Networks), Appfolio, and Ericsson.

I live in Colorado with my wife and our goldendoodle Maui. I love to cook, experiment with espresso, read espionage fiction or history, travel, and stare at any plane that goes overhead.
